What is Intelligence?¶

Intelligence is considered from two varying ideas:
- That intelligence stems from the internal thoughts and reasoning
or
- The idea of intelligent behaviour and "external characterisation"

Machine-Learning is a sub-field of artificial intelligence which studies the ability to improve performance based on experience.
Some AI models use Machine-Learning and some do not.

AI is in the pursuit of human-like intelligence and it is believed that it must be in part an empirical science related to psychology, involving observations and predictions regarding human behaviour, thought processes and actions, and that with a rational approach involve a combination of mathematics, engineering and statistics.
